US gaming retailer GameStop is claiming that the Wii U Pro Controller has the ability to last up to 80 hours on only one charge which is significantly longer than its counterpart, the Wii U GamePad. An Xbox 360 controller apparently lasts for around 30 hours if new batteries are placed into it so this is quite an advanced difference. GameStop also states that the Wii U Pro Controller is unable to play any Wii games which is a massive shame considering the controller would be perfect for titles such as Mario Kart Wii and Super Smash Bros Brawl. What are your thoughts on the Wii U Pro Controller?
The Wii U Pro Controller features the dual analog sticks and ergonomic button layout that you’ve come to expect, as well as a rechargeable battery that can last up to 80 hours on a single charge.
