New Super Mario Bros U confirmed to implement 1080p graphics

Via the official New Super Mario Bros U site, it has been confirmed that the anticipated Wii U launch title will display in 1080p. Earlier in the year, Nintendo reps had mentioned that launch titles for Wii U would run in only 720p but this claim seems to have been denounced. Nevertheless it is exciting to hear that we will be finally playing a Mario title in full HD.
