Separate Wii U GamePads not available to purchase in North America

Nintendo of America director of PR Marc Franklin has stated that separate Wii U GamePads will not be available for purchase in North America because Nintendo does not want to confuse customers to think that a second GamePad is necessary considering no announced titles support the function yet. If you really want a second Wii U GamePad, you will be able to purchase one directly from Nintendo of America.

  1. Since aren’t any games supports 2 gamepads at the moment I don’t see it as a major issue. I don’t really see it as an issue at all since it’s very unlikely games will require 2 gamepads.
